Trevor Lally(Muay Thai/Kickboxing)

trevorpic1

Trevor Lally was born in Washington in 1973, along with his twin brother Todd. Trevor was lucky enough to start his martial arts career of kickboxing at the now famous AMC under the expert tutelage of Huru Shuminishi trainer of eight world champions, with such names as Maurice Smith, Curtis ,the Cat, Schuster, and Kim Messer just to name a few. After going undefeated in Kickboxing for two and a half years of competition, he took a break to go to school and play competitive rugby for Seattle. After two years of rugby he decided to go back to the gym after seeing a new sport called the UFC on pay per view. Again he was lucky to have in his gym Huru and the old crew plus some new faces one of which was Matt Hume a great fighter in Pancreas and the AMC Pankration Instructor.

Fighting under the AMC name Trevor’s first MMA fight took place in only three months of being back after a two year layoff, it was in Hawaii and it was in front of eight thousand people the first ever no hold barred event in Hawaiian history. The fight card consisted of big names such as Kimo who was the main event and also an AMC fighter, Todd Bjornathen (AMC), John Lewis, Orlando Veit, Joe Charles and many more. Facing a more experienced fighter from Russia (one of Gokar students) Trevor tapped him out by arm bar in around the eighth minute.

Fighting in over twelve pankration fights in Washington under the UFCF organization he only lost one fight. After that Trevor and his twin brother Todd were invited to live and compete in Japan under the Shooto organization. Living at the gym they competed in a shooto Tournament at the end of their stay both easily winning their first matches. In his second fight, Trevor faced a relatively unknown fighter at the time named Uno, the fight went back and forth for a while and the Japanese fighter, later known as Uno the Shooto Phenom, took the decision on points. From there Trevor competed in More Pankration fights. He also competed in the Abu Dhabi 98 tournament, as well as a recent win in King Of The Cage. Trevor’s current professional fighting record is 14-2, he hopes to fight more in the near future.
